Eligibility Criteria

Do you care for someone living with Alzheimer’s?

The different stages of Alzheimer’s disease can impact loved ones and carers, as well as those they care for. As symptoms associated with agitation increase, the challenges of caring do too.

NeuroClnx is inviting people with Alzheimer’s disease, together with their family member or carer, to find out whether they may be suitable for a clinical research study.

Our experienced research team will guide participants through every stage of the study.

Your loved one may be eligible if:

  • They have a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s
  • They are aged between 55 and 90
  • They’re regularly displaying signs of emotional distress, including:
  • Verbal aggression or unwanted vocalisations (swearing, screaming)
  • Physical aggression (hitting, biting)
  • Psychomotor agitation (pacing, repetitive motion)

Complete our pre-screener to register your interest.

The clinic has been very helpful and the staff polite: my visits to the clinic have been a worthwhile experience
During my period attending the clinic I found a very congenial atmosphere and was most impressed with the staff’s attitude and dedication at all times
A very positive experience – I was reassured to discover that my memory was too good for the research study.
Comfortable surroundings, relaxed atmosphere and professional staff during this difficult illness.
A pleasant day out. Happy and courteous staff, no hassle whatsoever, I will be sad if I’m not needed anymore. It’s nice to think you are helping others also. The biscuits are good too!
It has been very efficient all through and the treatment has been excellent. I have been treated professionally and with kindness
My total experience to date is that I am given confidence in being able to look forward to a future! Reassurance with every visit, that I can relax in the knowledge that my needs are being monitored by nursing staff. A very happy patient!
